ACCOUNTABILITY INSTITUTE

Accountability Institute Limited (AI) is a Kenyan training consultancy with a decade-long record of designing and delivering high-impact capacity-building programs for public institutions, private enterprises and civil-society organizations. Leveraging its signature experiential, “learning-by-doing” methodology, AI has trained more than 50,000 participants nationwide on entrepreneurship, strategic planning, performance management and culture transformation while consistently meeting strict quality and timeline requirements.

Building on this foundation, AI has evolved specialized Business Development Services (BDS) for youth, women, micro- and small-enterprise (MSME) owners, and persons living with disabilities (PLWDs) across Kenya’s 47 counties. Our facilitation teams drawn from experts in entrepreneurship development, finance-risk assessment, and change management co-create curricula that translate complex entrepreneurship and market concepts into practical business skills.

Through recent county-level assignments, AI has equipped youth and women’s groups to formalize businesses, access the Women Enterprise Fund and Youth Enterprise Development Fund, and secure procurement opportunities under the Access-to-Government Procurement Program (AGPO). Our PLWD cohorts report increased enterprise survival rates and improved market linkages after six months of after-care coaching.
